Kathleen M. Trotter, CCD
President and Principal Consultant

Kathy is a nationally recognized specialist in camp, conference center and retreat center programming and management. Kathy consulted for three years as an associate for an architectural firm in Portland, Oregon, then formed KALEIDOSCOPE inc. in 1986 to offer a broader range of services.

Kathy adds to her consulting skills 15 years experience as a successful site director and executive staff person in both camp and conference center settings. She has demonstrated her ability to develop and market creative programs for all ages; to operate financially stable and self-supporting sites; to supervise staff and lead boards for optimum effectiveness; to manage a start-up project as well as revitalize stagnant operations.

With camp and center management as a background, she has honed her consulting skills to include in-depth analysis, effective communication in all forms, facilitation to achieve consensus, creative solutions to address critical problems.

Jody Oates
Associate Consultant

Jody is an experienced camp leader with the skills to address the practical aspects of the operation without losing sight of the mission. His knowledge of the day-to-day issues of management enables Jody to guide leaders in setting realistic goals that empower the vision to grow into a sustainable enterprise. His broad understanding of issues and good communication skills enable him to relate effectively to all parts of the organization - staff, directors, board.

Amanda Williamson
RLA, Site Planner

Amanda is a Landscape Architect committed to providing practical, sustainable site plans for camps and centers. Amanda's personal camp experience, her professional training and her understanding of environmentally sound design is a solid foundation for creating site and facility plans that will support 21st century programs, campers and guests. Her ability to illustrate the plans with pleasing graphics delights clients and excites prospective donors.

Terri Bressler
Project and Office Manager

Terri is adept at Internet and telephone research and managing the logistics of a project. The consultants count on Terri's organizational skills to assure accurate and timely communication with the client and production of materials. Her administrative efficiency is enhanced by her thorough understanding of the issues related to the projects because of her many years as a camp staff person.

In an effort to create a more organized World Wide Web, the W3C has created many new Web layout standards. The key focus of their effort is to provide the best possible interoperability between the different browsing programs available.

In the days of the browser wars between Netscape and Microsoft, many hacks were propagated by the competing companies. However, today these hacks have done more to hurt the Web than to help the battling companies. By downloading and installing one of the programs listed above, the Web will be one step closer to eliminating these hacks and bugs.
